CAL WEARY Cal is the creative visionary behind WAG. He Studied at York College of Pennsylvania, where he reconnected with his love for singing; he formed a band (EDENPARK) and began performing professionally. As a lifelong student of the arts, he continues to share his passions and skills with the community that WAG serves, constantly seeking opportunities to expand their creative reach. |
TONI PRICE Toni's experience in the Arts began as Production Assistant during high school. She was involved in the technical and performing aspects, including performing in talent shows, where she eventually found her passion in Stage Management. She maintains this role in the support and administrative team of WAG through stage management. |
WARKENDA WILLIAMS-CASEY Warkenda is an experienced dance teacher and certified interpreter for the Deaf. She studied Psychology and Special Education at Carson-Newman College. Warkenda has had the pleasure of training with directors, choreographers, and dancers from such notable companies as Alvin Ailey and the Nashville Ballet. She studied Vaganova method and Neoclassical (Balanchine) ballet technique, which continue to influence her teaching and choreography today. |
LAVON HOLLAND Lavon Holland graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts where her extensive training has been in Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Balanchine. She has studied the modern and jazz techniques of Graham, Cunningham, Horton, and Limone. Lavon has studied other dance forms such as African-Dunham, Flamenco, Tap, Hip-Hop, Liturgical Dance and Musical Theater. |
DANTE STRANGE While attending Central York Senior High School, Dante was dual-enrolled in the William Penn Performing Arts Institute for acting and dance enrichment. It was during this time, he gained more experience in performance as well as videography and technical theatre. Dante also attended the York Area Regional Dance company (YARD) for his training in multiple dance forms, including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap. |
MANUEL TELLADO Manuel discovered his love for acting in high school. This passion continued to grow after graduation - when he began to run the theatre program at York Academy Charter School. Manuel (Manny) is an experienced actor and teacher who is constantly learning and growing his passion for the arts. |

ROD GOELZ Rod Goelz is a local musician who has “gone international” with his teaching methods. The Associated Press has called Rod a “six-string surgeon,” this Grammy nominated music educator (2013) has been mentoring musicians and making great music for more than 26 years. A native of York, PA, Rod attended Berklee College of Music and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry Studies from Millersville University. He believes that the best way to learn an instrument is to play with others from the first day. |
MISSY KIEFER Missy Kiefer is a vocal and instrumental instructor. She holds a Bachelors of Music Degree from UNC-Greensboro and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana/Purdue University. Missy has directed bands and choirs for 20 years all over the country. She has been music director and performer at York Little Theatre, DreamWrights, New Hope Academy Charter School, and WAG. |

Dante continued his education at the American Music Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City for Musical Theatre. His classes focused around nothing but the arts. He received specialized training in Voice Production and Speech, Stage Combat, and Music Theory. |
JOE KRESS Joe is Technical Director for WAG. He has previously served as Artistic Director, Small Props fabricator, Artist, Set Designer, Lighting, and Sound. Joe has been involved in theatre since he attended High School at William Penn Sr. High in all aspects from being on stage, to being in the pit for York Little Theatre to now doing what he loves best, working backstage and creating things that make people wonder! |
