Improv Acting

This course introduces and develops students' principles and techniques of creating believable characters through action, improvisation, analysis, movement, physicalization, vocal control, and interpretation. Improv means to act from the top of your head without a script! Learn how to create characters and scenes without any preparation. This class is taught by Dante Strange.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre incorporates a variety of different skills from the arts. Students will learn how to act, move, and sing all in one scene. They will also learn how to break down a song and truly understand what they are performing. This class is taught by Dante Strange.
​Ages - under 16 Tuesdays at 4pm / 16+ Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5pm.

Method Acting

In this lecture/discussion class, we'll discuss and learn about the "method" acting style, it's origins, it's practitioners, and if delving so deep into your character is practical methodology or dangerous psychology.

AUDITON WORKSHOP
(Intermediate)

This workshop is designed for actors who are actively auditioning or want to begin auditioning and are in need of audition materials. Students will learn how to find appropriate material that is well-suited to their personal uniqueness and casting type while receiving a directorial approach to effectively mount and execute a monologue to best demonstrate their skills. This class is taught by Dante Strange.

Auditon Workshop
(Beginner)

This course will allow the student artist to work through a range of audition techniques to prepare them for multiple styles of audition processes as well as how to take a proper headshot and create an acting resume. Students will receive a headshot and acting resume at the end of the course.

Sip-n-sew with ms. lou & you

Master Designer Louella “Ms. Lou” Sexton-Morgan will guide you through the amazing world of creating your own clothing, accessories, dolls, and home décor. Learn techniques and tricks of the trade while sharing an evening with friends. You can bring your own machine or use one of ours. Materials for projects are included with other lite refreshments.
